Holocene Clean Energy is a utility-scale distributed solar generation development company headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina. Founded in 2008, the company has developed over 120 MW of solar PV projects across the Mid-Atlantic region.
Our Approach

We work with electric cooperatives, municipal utilities, generation and transmission organizations and joint action agencies to reduce dependency on traditional fuels, increase grid reliability, and improve efficiency of power delivery.

Holocene is experienced in RTO markets like PJM Interconnection as well as regulated markets in the Southeast. The company has completed solar PV projects interconnected with investor-owned utilities in North Carolina, Virginia, and New Jersey.
