Stan Allison
Chief Executive Officer
Stan has 12 years of experience in solar energy, focusing on strategic, commercial, financial and administrative activities. Previously, he worked 35+ years as an investment banker with international institutions. He earned his BA in Business and Economics from Lafayette College and his MBA from University of Virginia.
Greg (Engineering Lead)
Engineering
30 years in the energy sector including engineering and management positions for one of the largest US utilities. He led Global Energy & Environmental Divisions with operational budgets over $800M for a Fortune 50 company and served as CEO of a utility-scale solar company developing over 45 solar farms. Greg holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University.
Jim Armfield
Solar Design Engineer
6+ years as a civil engineer with experience in land development consulting. Jim joined Holocene in 2020 and works on designing solar facilities, financial models, and consultant coordination. He holds a BS in Civil Engineering from NC State University and is a Professional Engineer registered in North Carolina.
Jared Clark
Project Engineer
Jared brings experience in commercial construction management as a project engineer and helped develop a renewable energy startup in Raleigh. His work includes site design, energy modelling, and renewable energy assessment. He is currently studying electrical engineering at NC State University with a concentration in renewable electric energy systems.
Preston Nisbet
Operations
Over 40 years managing commercial and institutional projects. Previously Operations Manager for Turner Construction Company in Raleigh, NC, and VP of Project Management for Shelco, Inc. Preston is LEED AP Accredited and holds a BA from Lander University.
